When we lost electricity around six 06:00PM last evening we expected a minor glitch. After an hour or so we realized it would take a little longer for the repair, where ever the outage was. Telephone was still working so I called TXU. I told the operator we were in North Arlington. They were not sure where the outage was and then transferred my call to another facility.
I asked that party when we could expect the repair to be completed. The woman could not answer any of my questions so I asked where she was located. She told me she was in ASIA!!!
ASIA???? I couldn't believe what I was hearing.
No electricity at all in our 3400 sq.ft. home and the lights and heat finally came on at 02:00 a.m. in our very cold and dark house. By the way, we are in our 70's.
               ASIA?? You tell me ;-)
